We want to allow our folks to use the power of generative AI but in a safe and approved way. Nightfall gently redirects our people to the safe gen AI sites and helps us by blocking attempts from folks putting PII or customer data into ChatGPT and other tools.

The automatic end user remediation is one of the most important Nightfall features for us. You can send automatic alerts to users, customize notifications, and empower users to mark false positives or provide business justification for their actions. We didn't find this feature in other tools, so this is one of the most important things we found in Nightfall.

Nightfall’s Slack integration is critical. Being able to action on alerts—redact, block, resolve—directly within Slack without logging into another portal saves us significant time. We see alerts and deal with them immediately, keeping our team highly efficient.

The ability to alert, contain, and eradicate issues within Slack is my favorite feature. With any alerts that we get from Nightfall, we actually don’t have to leave Slack. We get everything in Slack, and we can close the incident or issue from within Slack. We don’t have to hop into different tools to look at one issue. Everything is in there.

Nightfall helps ensure that we keep the proliferation of tokens and secrets to an absolute minimum, exactly for this reason. In this day and age, you simply shouldn’t assume that private cloud environments are inherently safe from snooping or exfiltration.
